FULFILLMENT

by David Radavich

The dreaded death panels
have come to pass.

In Arizona.
Under Republicans.

What the seers foretold—
ahead of schedule.

Just in time
for the arrival

of the babe
in the manger

but before the wise men
can bring any gifts

that will save
anyone from dying.

The ads
become flesh

in our
dark time.
