What's forbidden
always entices,
as was the case with Eve,
who wasn't as peckish as
we were lead to believe,
or with Pandora who was
admonished: don't open
this box! If only
we were granted
free access from the start
so knowledge & reason
could flourish. This
would have greatly
pleased Descartes.
