MASKED AND DISTANCED

by Howie Good

Photo of Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp from the archives of the Memorial and Museum Sachsenhausen.

The avenue is near deserted, no parades,
few people, everyone a possible biohazard.

I sit at home in front of the computer
rather than be masked and distanced.

When I lift my eyes from the screen,
it always seems to be night and raining.
