A tiny grain with teeth.
Yet too small
to cast a shadow.
Then a lung.
A room.
A locked door.
Someone says
nothing is confirmed.
No one moves.
Morning slips beneath the door
in one thin blade,
bright enough to touch every shoe.
For a moment,
that is enough.
We turn uncertainty
into innocence.
