toe tapping as the injections
went in
there were no final words.

he appeared "stoic"
so the reporter says
but she did mention his toe
tapping
something i do when nervous

perhaps
he was nervous about what
happens next
perhaps
there was remorse behind his
quietly defiant eyes
perhaps
there was not.
