by Buff Whitman-Bradley
The bewildered and stunned
Are filling the streets
The heat is unbearable
The storms terrifying
The turtle that carries
The world on its back
Is looking for another job
The rich and powerful
Cannot conceal their contempt
Nobody can get
A straight answer anymore
And the wars go on and on
And on
